Gabriel Neustadt

Gabe is a two-time finalist for the Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference and a finalist for both the Ashland New Plays Festival and Sundance Episodic Story Lab. Originally from St. Pete, Florida, Gabe studied at Harvard and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English. He currently resides in LA where he works as a screenwriter for independent film and television producers. Outside of writing, his hobbies include rock climbing, tennis, and rooting for the Tampa Bay Rays.

Julia Ryan

Julia is an experienced media professional who has held roles as writer and editor at publications including The AtlanticBloomberg NewsThe New York Post, and Time Magazine.  A graduate of Harvard, Julia majored in English and served as a staff writer and news executive editor for The Harvard Crimson

Julia's passion for teaching started when she ran the training program for aspiring student journalists at The Harvard Crimson. As a media professional, she worked with young writers and editors through alumni mentorship programs and served as a guest speaker at several NYU Masters in Publishing courses.

A native of New Hampshire, she currently lives in Rhode Island where she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her family.

Josh Wagner

Josh Wagner recently graduated from Stanford University, majoring in English and minoring in Art History and Philosophy. Josh is devoted to public writing, having spent four years writing, designing, and editing for various campus publications, including The Stanford Daily, Caesura Journal, Untitled Journal, and Aisthesis. His love of poetry and philosophy have taken him to conferences and archives across the United States and Western Europe, supported by Stanford grants. His thesis research, challenging the status of William Blake's theological poetry, won the Golden Medal for Excellence in the Humanities.

A native Los Angeleno, Josh cultivates a variety of interests in philosophy, cheerleading, music, literature, theology, and exploring the depths of bookstores. Outside of the classroom, you can often find Josh on the hiking trail, playing his tenor saxophone, or reading outside. Above all, Josh is eager to help students develop their academic and intellectual abilities by inspiring a deep passion for writing and reflection.
